Bell & Ross Bellytanker Wathe "Spritz o'Clock" Review
Since the world begins to move in the direction of what will eventually become our own next normal, brightly colored timepieces are one of the trends that have started to emerge. Bright colours and patterns are almost everywhere, signaling the return from the exuberance and celebration all of us need this summer. What better method to embody the joy of collecting with friends over drinks in the summer than with Sprite?
The actual Bell & Ross Bellytanker Chronograph #SPRITZOCLOCK for Trend does just that. This is an uncommon and whimsical color for your Bellytanker collection, with a vibrant orange dial and viser. The orange theme proceeds throughout the rally-style strap. Everything orange is inspired through the spritz, a light, refreshing beverage that represents summer as well as friendship.
Luckily, our favorite alcoholic drink bar in New York City, RedBar HQ Amor y Acibarado, just launched a summer outside cocktail program called Spray by Amor y Lamentable. Offering eight unique spray cocktails in an outdoor establishing inspired by an Italian language piazza, we thought it was an ideal spot to photograph this spritz-inspired timepiece.
The watch itself is really a rugged chronograph, powered with a Bell & Ross 301 automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve and 100 yards of water resistance, although we will definitely be replacing the rubberized strap before taking this to the water.. It comes in the 41mm case but dons slightly smaller due to the smaller lugs, making it suitable for a number of wrist sizes. The switch is the star of the display, with bright orange subdials punctuated by dark fruit subdials that are clear and simple to read. The orange board with the tachymeter scale matches the dial and makes me personally think this is a perfect summer time watch.
